Interesting fact

Favourite work environment

The dream is to work with a view of the beach and feel the calmness of the sunset and ocean breeze while sipping a warm cup of coffee. In reality, the quietness after all the responsibilities of managing a business, my kids finally in bed and I've put away all the cars and pieces of lego that I stepped on is the most peaceful work environment I could hope for.

Q&A

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?

I wish I knew how to play a musical instrument. I've always wanted to learn but wasn't patient enough.

Do you have any hidden talents?

My friends and I have laughed about my investigative abilities when it comes to stalking someone on social media. That's a talent right?

What motivates you at work?

I had to give up my 9 to 5 job since I had my first child and experienced what it's like to be a stay at home mom. It was draining not only physically but psychologically as well. Being able to work at home gives me a sense of achievement and purpose. To put it bluntly, work keeps me sane.

Something someone else said about me

Izzy

Our toy poodle was a gift to my kids. I bought her when the pandemic started so they wouldn't get bored being cooped up in the house. She was born Aug 5, 2020 and the first dog that we allowed inside the house. She's very smart and clingy. She's so tiny that her leg broke when my 11-year old son accidentally stepped on her. She had to wear a cast for a month.
